Chapter 1. What is The Meaning of Life on Earth?
Most of us as children spend a large part of our life going to school, learning about things that will prepare us for life as adults. Then when we leave school the big adventure of life begins.
However, it doesn’t take us long before we find ourselves on life’s long road of schooling, working, striving, and wondering “Is this all there is?” and “What is the meaning of my life?”
If only someone had taught us at school, that the meaning of our life on Earth is to prepare for our eternal life in Heaven. Then given us a handy manual to guide us through life. Perhaps we would experience fewer mistakes and disasters along life’s highway to Heaven.
Thankfully, the Lord God of all creation knows exactly what you need, and has prepared the manual for you called The Holy Bible. God has also provided a way for you to communicate with Him, through your prayers.
And God has provided a way for you to receive instruction and guidance. By learning how to hear the voice of God speaking to you directly, or through his angels, or through dreams and visions, and through other Christians. God has also provided you with a valuable network to help you though life, and that is the family of God, at your local church.
